The lady's summer habit consists of a petticoat and manteau of the same striped fabric,
which was very popular during the early years of this manteau style. There is no noticeable
skirt support - the skirt actually almost hugs her legs. The manteau sits low on the shoulders
and is closed over the breast but opens slightly to reveal an embroidered stomacher.
