"As we have stated often already, sharp-ponted lace decorations are now all the rage.
Here, the lace of fine silk threads is used to frame the angualr décolleté of a pink
silk blouse. To keep the points in place, they are fixed with hidden stitches. To be
noted about this simple but pretty getup are the gloves, in which the woven pattern is
traced with gold thread embroidery. The hair is crowned with a wreath of fine fern and
pink flowers. Rich, carved fan. Pearl necklace."
