s1859_4 Body for Evening Dress, 1859 ---------------------------- 1. half of front 2. front side-body 3. half of back 4. back of side-body Its chief novelty consists of the seam, which forms the dart, and which runs up, in this pattern, to the top of the body. This gives the bust a particularly beautiful shape. The corsage is made with a point before and behind, and looks particularly well, when a berthe is worn with it, as seen in our illustration. ------ brought to you by La Couturière Parisienne (webmistress @marquise.de) http://www.marquise.de Copyright 1999, 2000 by A.
