It would be quite suitable for young ladies made in book muslin, with hemmed frills,
edged with narrow thread lace and goffered. 
Of silk, twenty-four inches in width, four yards and a half would be needed, and sixteen 
yards of black satin rouleau. 
The pannier is to be pleated into the band.
